Milton Cycles has a colossal manufacturing
facility located at Sonepat, the industrial hub of Haryana. The
production facility is spread in a sprawling area of 7.5 acres.
Milton Cycles has a production line capable of producing 5000 units
per day. In a very short span of time, Milton cycles has developed
its production unit into a hi-tech, state of the art facility with
all the latest machineries and instruments essential for producing
sophisticated and high quality bicycles.
Some of the major highlights of our production unit are:
Paint ShopThe
facility is equipped with a fully automatic paint shop with
pre-treatment plant for painting of Bicycle frames, forks, Chain
cover, Mudguard etc. The architecture and engineering of the paint
shop is done in such a way so that the process is uniform and the
extra coats on the metal prevent the bicycle from oxidization &
corrosion.
Press ShopAn indigenous press shop with 40
Power Presses (from 5 ton to 200 ton) to make various bicycle parts.
Various press operations such as Blanking, Piercing, Shearing,
Drawing, Bending, Stamping, Embossing etc. are carried out in the
press shop.
Heat TreatmentHeat treatment section has 6
furnaces for hardening and tempering of Chain components, Pedal
components etc.
ElectroplatingEquipped with electroplating
plants for Nickel and Chrome plating of Rims, Pedal, Reflector, and
other components and Zinc plating of spokes.
The production capacity is further augmented with the availability
of a full fledged Tool Room with precision machines (Milling, Lathe,
Shaper, EDM machine, Radial Drilling Machine, Surface Grinder, &
Cylindrical Grinder etc.) to make different types of dies, jigs and
fixture for all the components manufactured in our facility.
Furthermore, we have a team of well experienced and qualified
engineers and technicians to provide round the clock maintenance
support to the facility for a non-stop and error-free production
progression. Additionally, we have hundred percent power backup to
meet the requirements of manufacturing unit in case of power
shortages.
We have a complete ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) approved by
Haryana State Pollution Control Board to treat various effluents
emanating from the production processes.
To cater to the ever increasing demand of Milton bicycles, we have
made a major breakthrough by expanding our Chain and Rim Plants. The
plants have been designed and re-engineered such that to remain
ahead of our competition. |
